Larkcon Enterprises was formed in 1998. The company was formally known as TransAf which was founded in 1990. TransAf owned a fleet of trucks as well as operating as a transport broker. It was in fact the leading player during the 1992 drought relief programme in Southern Africa and led the way in 1994/5 refugee crisis in Central Africa. Larkcon Enterprises now focuses on shipping, freight forwarding logistical solutions and customs clearing, and continues to import quality used vehicles and spares into the region.

Our truck sales division continues to supply quality used vehicles and offer our customers a worry-free purchase. Our aim is to continue to supply all vehicles that have had pre-shipment checks and full service before shipment and give an all-inclusive door to door service that includes a full PDI. Upon arrival in Zimbabwe, we look to offer all clients a full delivered service that includes all ZIMRA formalities, police clearance, registration, number plates and VID. We can offer financial packages to clients (subject to status and T & Cs).

We keep a stock of commonly needed spare parts for MAN vehicles in particular and we can import parts quickly by airfreight should we not have them on hand at our Harare office. It is our objective to keep any truck we supply on the road and making money for all our customers with minimum downtime.
